The first two webinars of the BIONEXT project took place in autumn 2025, offering thought-provoking insights into the interlinkages between biodiversity and major societal systems, and introducing fresh policy recommendations from two research projects.
The first BIONEXT webinar, titled "How to make biodiversity governance more just, inclusive and effective?", presented two new policy briefs from the BIONEXT and BIOTraCes projects. The session included a panel discussion featuring voices from civil society, academia, and the policy-making sphere.

Our second webinar “Exploring the Biodiversity Nexus – Methodologies and New Insights” was chaired by Dr. Paula Harrison and featured presentations by Dr. HyeJin Kim and Dr. Anita Lazurko from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology. The webinar delved into innovative research methodologies and offered fresh perspectives on how nexus thinking can support the design of nature-positive futures.
